A fierce competitor who pursued excellence in all that she did throughout her women's tennis career, Brenna Sheldon was named to the North Coast Athletic Conference All-Decade team in the spring of 2024. 

The 2014 NCAC Player of the Year, Sheldon finished her senior season with a 21-7 record in singles en route to earning Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-America and ITA Scholar-Athlete honors. Receiving All-NCAC first-team honors in doubles in 2014 as well, she and Grace Porter posted a 13-3 mark that season and finished the year ranked seventh in the ITA Central Region.

Securing a trip to the NCAA Individual Championships in 2014, Sheldon finished the season ranked 20th in the nation and third in the ITA Central Region. Additionally, she was selected as the region's Arthur Ashe Sportsmanship and Leadership Award winner. 

An All-NCAC second-team selection in 2012 and 2013, Sheldon was Oberlin's NCAC John N. Stern Female Athlete of the Year in 2014.

Sheldon departed Oberlin with a 54-24 record in singles and 58-25 mark in doubles, for a career-winning percentage of 70 percent. Of her 54 singles wins, 37 of those came in either the first or second flight. 

A native of Sebastopol, California, Sheldon was a double major in environmental studies and German who graduated as a member of the NCAC Academic Honor Roll.
