ITA Regionals Set For the Weekend

The weekend will be actioned packed at the Don Hunsinger Courts.

The Oberlin College women's tennis team is hosting the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Regional this Saturday Through Monday at the newly resurfaced Don Hunsinger Outdoor Courts.

Oberlin welcomes over 100 participants from 18 different schools from across the region to its campus. “We are really excited to have the top players and teams from the region come compete at our state-of-the-art facilities,” head coach Constantine Ananiadis said. “This weekend is also a great opportunity for our team to play against some of the best competition in Division III.”

The Central Regional is one of eight Division III women's regionals taking place this weekend and it is the first ever at Oberlin College.

The individual winner and winning doubles team earn bids to the ITA Small College National Championship in Mobile, Alabama in October.

Fans should be aware that the start times, draws and results will be posted on goyeo.com at the end of each day of competition.
