Westlake, Ohio – Led by a swarm of young talent, the Oberlin College women's tennis team garnered four North Coast Athletic Conference postseason honors, as announced by the league on Thursday afternoon.
Stella Kollmansberger headlined the honors with a spot on the All-Conference First-Team for singles play.
Scarlett Kingston earned Third-Team honors for singles, while the duo of
Freya Rahm and
Hannah Soong notched Third-Team accolades as a doubles pair.
The first-year sensation went 11-7 this season and picked up five conference singles wins. Kollmansberger spent the entire season on the top singles court, while partnering up with
Olivia Wollner in doubles play. Before losing in the NCAC Semifinals against top-seeded Kenyon, the rookie had a five-match win streak where she outscored her opponents 62-17.
Kingston, a second-year from New York, flexed between second and third court this season. Collecting eights wins this season, Kingston went 3-5 in North Coast action while controlling the middle of the lineup. She went 5-3 at No. 3 singles, before returning to No. 2 ahead of the conference tournament. This is her first-career All-NCAC honor.
Doubles teammates Rahm and Soong went 4-8 on the season, playing primarily on first court. The duo paired up for all of North Coast action, getting a key win over Wittenberg. For Rahm, this is the first NCAC honor of her career, while Soong earn Second-Team doubles honors last season with
Anna Pastore '25.
Not graduating any seniors, the Crimson and Gold are set to return their entire roster next season, and continue to build after a historic season.
