Behrend, PA - The Oberlin College volleyball team split a pair of matches on Saturday, topping Pitt-Greensburg in straight sets (25-15, 25-8, 25-21), but would later fall to the Lions of Penn State Behrend in four sets (9-25, 25-11, 18-25, 21-25).
Oberlin now sits at 13-7 overall, but as it was happening the North Coast Athletic Conference announced that the Yeowomen secured the fourth seed in the upcoming in NCAC Tournament and will host the fifth-seeded Hiram College Terriers on Tuesday, November 7 at 7 p.m.

The Oberlin offense was paced by
Cami Sweet, who finished with 15 kills in the match while accumulating a hitting percentage of .423. Sweet also added six block assists in the win.
Zeynep Kaya chipped in 11 finishes, while
Iris Archibald led the back row with 15 digs.
How It Happened
SET 1 | The Yeowomen grabbed control on the first point and held the lead the rest of the way to secure the first set by 10 points. Collecting 15 kills in the process, Oberlin also got a solid defensive performance from a front row that blocked four Pittsburgh-Greensburg attacks in the stanza.
SET 2 | Oberlin won set two 25-8 to promptly grab a 2-0 lead. The Yeowomen led early on at 5-4 and held the lead the advantage rest of the way. Oberlin opened its biggest lead of the stanza, 17 points and racked up 16 kills along the way. The Oberlin offense also got a boost from four aces in the session.
SET 3 | Oberlin took the third set to finish off the match in the tightest session of the match. Oberlin took the lead for good at 21-20 in a set that showcased four lead changes before the Yeowomen pulled away.
