West Lake, Ohio – Senior thrower
Hank Sinn was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week, announced Monday afternoon by the conference office.
Sinn led the Yeomen throwers with a school record performance in the weight throw. The senior's heave of 53-11.25 topped his previous school- and career-best mark of 52-10.25 from the 2017 NCAC Indoor Championships. Additionally, the Latty, Ohio, native also went on to win the shot put with a personal-best toss of 45-09.25.
His throw in the weight is currently ranked 29
th in all of Division III, and both marks sit atop the NCAC top-performance list.
Sinn will look to build off his strong start along with the rest of the track & field squad competing at the Tiffin University Open this Saturday.
