Oberlin, Ohio- The Oberlin College men's tennis team lost to visiting Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday, 6-3, in it's first dual match of the season.
The Yeomen won three matches against the reigning Ohio Athletic Conference champion Yellow Jackets.
Freshman
Callan Louis earned the Yeomen's only singles victory on Saturday in fourth singles, 6-4, 6-1.
Oberlin faired better in doubles play, taking two of the three matches. Junior
Charlie Marks and senior
Ben Turchin won in first doubles, 9-8, 7-5. Louis and sophomore
Soren Zeliger followed with a victory in second doubles by the score of 8-5.
The Yeomen will continue their season on February 16 when Wabash College comes to town for a 9 a.m. dual match.
