Box Score
Oct. 7 - The Oberlin Volleyball team dropped their Northcoast Athletic Conference match this evening at home against Denison University. The three set match finished 25-12, 25-18, 25-20. Oberlin was able to improve with each set, but they were simply unable to make enough plays to extend the match.
First-year
Sara Blankemeyer did absolutely everything she could to keep the Yeowomen close, but in the end it was not enough. Providing a bright spot for the Yeowomen, Blankemeyer hit .286 and made only four errors in the match.
The Yeowomen also posted 43 digs as a team, including eight in the first set. Denison controlled the match from early on and the Big Red effectively kept Oberlin from swaying the momentum throughout the match. The Yeowomen will be back on the court this Friday as they host Allegheny at 7:00 pm.
