Box Score Meadville, Pennsylvania – The Oberlin men's tennis team launched its 2025 fall season with a weekend of standout performances at the Allegheny Invitational, highlighted by multiple singles victories and several strong doubles pairings.

Second-year Rowan Ing set the tone with an undefeated weekend in singles play, picking up straight-set wins over Allegheny's Alex Harcourt (6–3, 6–2), Ari Sutin (6–4, 6–4), and Sevie Kretchmar of Baldwin Wallace (6–4, 6–1). Classmate Oliver Knijnenburg also impressed, sweeping all three of his singles matches, including a commanding 6–1, 6–2 win over Allegheny's Reid Stasolla.

Oberlin's highlight reel continued to roll, with Brady Huggett notching three singles wins, including a gritty 3–6, 6–2, 1–0 (10–7) comeback over Baldwin Wallace's Tyler Fenton and a decisive 6–2, 6–2 victory against Gavin Binni. Christian Pak turned in a perfect singles record, capped by a 6–1, 6–2 win over Allegheny's Dylan Johns, while Enrique Margain rolled to a pair wins without dropping a set. Tory Johansson added three more singles victories, including a 6–0, 6–2 victory over BW's Caleb Goff.

In doubles action, Oberlin's depth showed throughout the draw. The duo of Knijnenburg and Huggett closed the weekend with a strong 6–2 win over BW's Binni and Kretchmar, while the pairing of rookies Dash Smith and Cameron Weiss collected two wins, including a 6–4 triumph over Allegheny's Benedek Kaibas and David Rodriguez. Pak and Ben Tichauer also earned a convincing 6–1 victory over BW's Parker Campbell and Matt Swank.

The Yeomen's balanced effort across both singles and doubles provided a promising start to the fall campaign as they look ahead to the Denison Invitational on Friday, September 12 through Sunday, September 14.
