Westlake, Ohio – Earning weekly North Coast Athletic conference honors for the third time in her career,
Krystal Montas was named the NCAC Athlete of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday morning.
Montas put together an all-around impactful week for the Crimson and Gold, averaging 11.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 2.3 steals across three games as Oberlin went 2-1 heading into conference play.
The Florida native opened with a season-high 16 points, six rebounds, and team highs in blocks (two) and steals (three) in a 64-51 win over Alma. She followed with another team-leading scoring performance at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, posting 11 points, four boards, three assists (season high), and two blocks.
She closed the week with seven points, seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals in a 63–53 win at Pomona-Pitzer, highlighting her steady two-way impact.

The team gears up for their conference opener against Wooster tomorrow, Wednesday, December 3. The 6 p.m. tip-off is the first game in a doubleheader against the Fighting Scots.
