The Crimson and Gold saw their first lead at 1:13 following a layup from Noa Brown, but a final Fighting Scots jumper clinched the narrow 9-8 lead to close out the first period.

Trailing 11-10, Oberlin registered a nine-point surge, highlighted by a three-pointer and layup from Lee and a layup and pair of made free throws from Kumler. Behind 21-13 with 4:58 remaining, Wooster rallied with a 7-1 push to reduce their margin to 22-20 going into the break.
