Lilah Drafts-Johnson and
Annie Goodridge led the Oberlin College women's track and field squad at the Denison University Last Chance Meet in Granville, Ohio.

Drafts-Johnson ran her way to a victory in the women's 400-meter dash with a time of 1:00.09, while senior
Nuria Alishio-Caballero finished second with a time of 1:03.59. Drafts-Johnson then clocked a time of 27.32 in the 200-meter dash, which was good enough for second. Senior
Ashley Parish claimed third with a time of 27.73.

Drafts-Johnson, a native of Melrose, Massachusetts, went on to an impressive third place finish in the women's triple jump with a mark of 34-10.25 (10.62m).

After earning North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, first-year
Annie Goodridge claimed first in the women's triple jump. Goodridge leaped to a mark of 35-06.0 (10.82m) to claim the top spot. She then went on to finish second in the long jump with a distance of 16-10.0 (5.13m).

Parish also registered a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter dash, finishing the trek in 8.42.

Against a field of 23 competitors
Deirdre Haren clocked a time of 2:28.85 in the women's 800-meter run to earn sixth place overall.

In the women's 3,000 meter,
Calista Diehl earned a fourth-place finish with a time of 11:37.97. Sophomore
Alyssa Hemler finished behind Diehl with a time of 11:39.51.

Pole vaulter
Ave Spencer registered a second-place finish with a height of 10-06.0 (3.20m). Spencer hit the mark on her second attempt, finishing behind Ohio Wesleyan's Nicole Rozsa, who set the mark on her first try.

On the men's side, the best finish of the night was registered by the 4x200 meter relay. The quartet of senior

Evan Finch, first-year,
Ian Smith and fellow first-year
James Tanford clocked a time of 1:35.36 for second.

Smith went on to an eighth-place performance in the 200-meter dash before earning a fourth-place finish in the 400-meters. Smith ended the 200 with a time of 24.34 to finish nearly simultaneously with junior
Ian Emerson, who led the Oberlin pack with a time of 24.34. Smith placed fourth in the 400 with a time of 53.45.

Oberlin track and field will return to action at the NCAC Indoor Championships next Friday on March 6 as DePauw University will host the 2015 Indoor Championships in Greencastle, Indiana. Action on Friday begins at 2 p.m.
