Yeo Notes ...

Series Information …
The game will be the 70th all-time meeting between the two foes with the series deadlocked at 30-30-9 … However, the Lords have been on the better side of the leger lately, owning an 8-1-2 mark against the Yeomen in the last decade.

All You Need is One …
In the 2013 NCAC Tournament semifinal on November 6, the Lords snuck by the Yeomen 1-0 as current senior Jeremiah Barnes scored the game's lone goal … In this season's regular season match-up in Gambier on October 14 it was Tony Amolo who deposited one of his NCAC-leading 15 goals in the 1-0 win.

Go Johnny Go …
Senior forward John Ingham has scored 14 goals this season to lead the team … He has found the back of the net in 10 different games and when he scores the Yeomen are 9-1 in those matches … With 37 goals and 14 assists in his career, Ingham ranks third all-time in Oberlin history in both goals and points (88).

Stingy Defense …
Oberlin enters the tournament having won four of its last five matches, with its lone blemish coming in the form of a 1-0 setback to No. 2 seed Ohio Wesleyan … During the run the Yeomen have allowed just three goals … In conference play the Yeomen surrendered just seven goals, which ranks third in the league … However, the Lords are two goals better, letting in a league-low five over the nine games.

Koryn the Keeper …
Freshman goalie Koryn Kraemer has played a big part in Oberlin's late-season run as he leads all conference goalies with an .844 saves percentage in league play … Kraemer made 38 saves and allowed just seven goals over the eight NCAC contest he appeared in … In the first meeting with the Lords he had eight saves.

Mr. Clutch …
Junior Nick Wertman has come on strong, scoring in three of the Yeomen's last four matches with two game-winners to keep their postseason dreams alive … The reining NCAC Player of the Week, Wertman sent in a laser strike in double overtime to lift the Yeomen over Allegheny (Oct. 20) and then headed in the game-winner in the 102nd minute against Denison (Oct. 31) to put the Yeomen into the tournmanet … On the season, three of his five goals have been game-winners.

Lucky Number Two …
Since the start of the 2013 season the Yeomen are 26-5-2 when scoring two or more goals in a game, including 10-1-0 this season … However, Kenyon has allowed just two or more goals nine times during that stretch, but seven of those were in 2013 … This season the Lords gave up three in a 4-3 win over Carnegie Mellon and in 2014 they fell to OWU 2-0 in the NCAA Tournament.
