Series Information …
Oberlin trails in the all-time series, 2-16-1 … The two Yeomen wins came in 1945 and in 2012 … In the 31-16 victory three seasons ago, the Little Giants were also ranked 10th in the country at that time … Oberlin threw for 403 yards in the game … In 2013 the Yeomen also played the Little Giants tough, limiting their offense to just 20 points in a 27-13 loss … Oberlin was particularly good in the red zone, holding the Little Giants to just one touchdown and two field goals on their seven trips inside the 20 … Wabash's 318 total yards were also the least amount they gained in any game to that point in the season … Unfortunately, the Yeomen offense could not capitalize as they turned it over eight times, with their lone TD coming in the fourth quarter … However, last season it was all Wabash.

Last Meeting Against The Little Giants …
In last year's game at Hollett Little Giant Stadium, the Little Giants scored four first-quarter touchdowns and led 42-3 at the half en route to earning a 70-10 win … The Yeomen's lone TD of the game came in the third quarter on a 15-yard Lucas Poggiali run … Wabash racked up 604 yards of offense and held the Yeomen to 127 … Justin Cruz did impress with 10 catches for 79 yards in the setback.

Last Time Out for Oberlin …
It was a record-setting day for the Yeomen last Saturday as they racked up a school-record 690 yards of offense in a 49-8 win over Allegheny … Lucas Poggiali threw for a school record 506 yards and four touchdowns, while the Yeomen defense limited the Gators to just 18 yards on the ground and recorded 11 tackles-for-loss … C.J. Ihle had three TFL's, which included a sack in the win.

Scouting the Little Giants …
Wabash, which ranks No. 8 in the D3football.com Top Poll and No. 10 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Poll, presents the toughest test of the season for the Yeomen … The nation's leading rushing defense, the Little Giants allow just six yards per game on the ground … They also check in third in the country in scoring defense, giving up 4.3 points per game after surrendering only 17 all season … In total defense the Little Giants are second in the NCAA as they give up just 142.5 yards per game … Running back Mason Zurek leads the NCAC with 117 yards rushing per game.

Poggiali Praise …
Lucas Poggiali rewrote the record the record book in last Saturday's win over Allegheny, completing 27-of-38 passes for a school-record 506 yards in the win … He was named NCAC and USA Football Player of the Week while also earning D3football.com Team of the Week honors for his efforts … Poggiali threw for four scores and now has 10 TDs on the season … After throwing for 213 yards and two touchdowns through the first three games, he has been a different player over the last two weeks, throwing for 848 yards and eight touchdowns.

Run Robby Run …
Freshman receiver Robby Reinheimer has emerged into an elite threat over the last two games as he has racked up 358 yards and three touchdowns on 14 catches … He busted onto the scene with a six-catch 130-yard performance against Ohio Wesleyan and then followed that performance by posting the third-best game in Yeomen history, snagging eight catches for 228 yards … He also has big-play ability with long catches of 48 and 70 yards over the last two weeks … Reinheimer enters Saturday's game ranked fifth in the NCAC with an average of 95.8 yards per game.

Clemons Is Creating …
Jabari Clemons has been a jack-of-all-trades over the last two weeks, averaging 157 all-purpose yards … He has rushed 49 yards, has totaled 126 yards in returns and has caught 12 balls for 139 yards and three touchdowns … Had he played in enough games to qualify, Clemons would be leading the NCAC in all-purpose yards per game.

Allen Attack  …
Sophomore Anthony Allen has been making noise along the Yeomen defensive live the past two weeks … The Redford, Michigan, native, has totaled nine tackles and three sacks while forcing a fumble and scooping up two more in the last two games … On the season he has 24 tackles and three sacks.

Heading to the House …
Oberlin ranks third in the NCAC in touchdowns scored this season, finding paydirt 18 times through the first five weeks … The Yeomen also lead the NCAC in two-point conversions with eight, while the only other team to convert one this season is Kenyon with three … The Tigers of DePauw lead the conference with 25 TDs, while Wabash is second with 23.

Keeping Clean …
The Yeomen offensive line, which played a large role in the Yeomen's 690-yard performance against Allegheny, has also done a good job in keeping the Yeomen quarterbacks clean this season … The Yeomen have allowed just nine sacks through the first five games, which ranks fourth in the NCAC.

What a Win it Would be …
The Yeomen moved to 2-3 on the season, marking the first time Oberlin has been 2-3 after five games since 2011 … However, a win this Saturday would put the Yeomen at 3-3 for the first time since 2007 when they finished 5-5 … A win would also mark the second victory over the national power in the last four years and be just third victory over the Little Giants in the all-time series … The Yeomen would also move to 3-1 at home on the season.
