Yeomen Fall to Regionally Ranked Carleton, 6-3

First-year Ian Paik went 2-0 against Carleton College

The Oberlin men's tennis team played the closest match of their spring break schedule against Carleton College, falling 6-3.
 
The Knights entered the match ranked 10th in the ITA Central Region.
 
The Yeomen started the day strong, taking both the No. 1 and No.2 doubles matches. Ian Paik and Soren Zeliger took down McCoy Becker and Erik Johnson, 8-4, in the No. 1 duel.
 
At the No. 2 doubles Callan Louis and Abraham Davis matched up with Mauricio Gonzalez and Andrew Hwang. The Yeomen duo took the close match, 9-7.
 
Paik won Oberlin's lone singles match, at the No. 2 spot. The first-year took down Gonzalez, 6-3, 6-2.
 
Tomorrow will conclude Oberlin's week on Hilton Head Island, when they take on Buena Vista University at 8:30 a.m.
