Oberlin Runners Compete at Baldwin Wallace

Berea, Ohio- A small number of runners represented Oberlin College on Friday night at the Mid-February Meet at Baldwin Wallace University.
 
The men were led by junior Quinn Hull who took fourth in the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:40.92. Seniors Alex Krichels and Sean Dembowski followed in seventh and tenth place with times of 2:45.00 and 2:53.31, respectively.
 
Oberlin also placed two runners in the top-15 in the men's 800-meter run. Junior Jimmy Taylor took fifth with a time of 2:00.12, while freshman Robert Moreton finished in 11th place as he crossed at 2:05.02.
 
For the Yeowomen, first-year Taylor Swift finished in 14th in the one-mile run with a time of 5:45.86.
 
The Oberlin men's and women's track and field teams will compete in the All-Ohio Championships tomorrow, February 9, at Otterbein University. Events are set to begin at 11 a.m.
