Cleveland, Ohio – Case Western Reserve scored two early first-half goals and never looked back as it defeated the Oberlin College men's soccer team by a 4-0 count on Saturday night.
The Yeomen got behind early on and were never able to gain control of the game as they were out-shot 21-6, including a 14-3 differential in shots on goal.
The Spartans had 10 different players trigger at least one shot attempt on the night.
Oliver Miller-Farrell led the Yeomen with two shots.
Case would add two goals early in the second half to put the game away for good.
Brandt Rentel did what he could to keep the Yeomen in the game as he made 10 saves on the night.
The game featured 27 total fouls with the Spartans drawing the majority of the whistles with 15 infractions. The victors also won the corner kick battle 4-1.
Oberlin returns to action on September 21 at Heidelberg. The opening touch is set for 7 p.m.
