The swimming and diving team capped off the last day of NCAC's with a strong team performance. Both the Yeomen and Yeowomen finished sixth place overall.

“I am very happy with how we performed for the entirety of the meet,” said Head Coach Mark Fino. “Our kids worked very hard all year and we hit our taper dead on. This was a testament of our team's commitment to the program and each other.”

The Yeowomen received strong performances from the distance swimmers tonight. Jenny Meltz swam to a twelfth place finish with a time of 18:07.34. Kelsey Sherman also turned in a solid swim for fourteenth place (18:27.62). She also swam to a sixteenth place finish in the 200-yard breastroke (2:38.20).

The first-years also contributed this evening. Katie Dunn took sixteenth place in the 200-yard backstroke (2:17.68). Anna Saltzman took fifteenth place in the 100-yard freestlye with a final time of 55.69.

Jane McIntyre continued her streak of great swims in the 200-yard butterfly with a season best time of 2:09.33 for ninth place. Kate Melanson also turned in a solid time of 2:12.74 to take eleventh place.

The Yeomen also had excellent swims from the milers. Chris Pickens was eigth place (16:40.26). Dimitri Macris swam his usual double of the mile and 200-yard butterfly. Macris took twelfth in the mile (17:09.99) and swam to a seventh place finish in the A-Final of the 200-yard butterfly (1:58.63).

First-year Dylan Jordan had an excellent performance in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:55.90 for eleventh place. Nick Lashway followed up in sixteenth place (2:00.30).

Mike Sabatka turned in a thirteenth place finish in the 200-yard breastroke (2:14.92). Corey Spiro swam to a tenth place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (1:58.00) and Luke Harrison followed up with a time of 2:00.02 for eleventh place.

The team also received top eight points from first-year divers Rhys Hertafeld and Jordan Attwood. Attwood was seventh with Hertafeld taking eighth place on one-meter.
