Granville, Ohio – Denison University scored the first nine goals of the game and never looked back as it cruised to a 20-3 victory over the Oberlin College women's lacrosse team on Tuesday night.

Oberlin (3-7, 0-3 NCAC) triggered just 10 shots on the night and lost the groundball battle 20-9.

Rookie Grace Amber scored two goals for the Yeowomen and scooped up a team-high three groundballs. Classmate Ilyssa Meyer netted the only other Oberlin score as she cashed in a free-position attempt with 9:20 remaining in the first half – marking Oberlin's first goal of the game.

First-year Madeleine O'Meara finished with nine saves.

Oberlin will look to get back on track on Thursday evening when it steps out of conference to play host to Washington & Jefferson University. The opening draw is set for 7 p.m. and fans that cannot make it to Fred Shults Field for the game can follow all of the action with a free live video stream.
