Box Score
September 10 – The Baldwin-Wallace College Yellow Jackets scored four times in the first 12 minutes and never looked back as they defeated the Oberlin College men's soccer team 6-1 on Wednesday night at Fred Shults Field.
Defensive breakdowns combined with a prolific B-W frontline attack contributed to the early offensive explosion.
The Yeomen were able to settle down and play with Baldwin-Wallace for the remainder of the half, but managed just two shots in the opening stanza – finishing with seven in the game.
Oberlin grabbed some slight momentum to start the second session as
Michael Mullaley received a cross from the near side from
Dan Jaffe and finished it strong into the back of the net.
However, that was the lone bright spot as B-W (4-0) added two second-half goals en route to handing Oberlin (4-2) its first home loss of the season.
The Yeomen will look to regroup on Saturday when they play host to local rival Case Western Reserve at 7 p.m.
