Oberlin, Ohio – Director of Campus Recreation Christine Varga has announced the hiring of Fenton Moore as the Campus Recreation Coordinator.

"Fenton brings a wealth of expertise in intramural sports and official development that aligns with our programming goals. I am incredibly excited to see how his leadership will shape the growth of Oberlin Campus Recreation and strengthen our campus community," Varga adds. 

While at Oberlin, Fenton will be overseeing College Lanes, Intramurals, and Hales Gymnasium in this role, as well as helping with Outdoor Recreation programming.

Moore comes to Oberlin from Golf Galaxy, where he was the Equipment Sales Lead, managing inventory and directing teammates. Prior to Golf Galaxy, Moore attended Baldwin Wallace, where he was the Intramural Sports Graduate Assistant. In that role, he helped manage and train student staff, develop programming, and support the day-to-day operations of campus recreation. Moore completed his undergraduate studies at John Carroll, where he worked as an intramural official and student supervisor.

Moore earned his bachelor's degree in Business from John Carroll in 2022 and his MBA with a concentration in sport management from Baldwin Wallace in 2024. 

"I am thrilled to be part of Oberlin College and Conservatory, and I look forward to enhancing our campus recreation programs. My goal is to create engaging, inclusive, and dynamic activities that support the physical and mental well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and community," Moore continues.
