River Falls, Wisconsin – As announced by the Oberlin College Athletics Chi Alpha Sigma Chapter, 111 scholar-athletes have been inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Honors Society.

Amanda Phillips added, "To be inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma is to be honored for an uncompromising standard of quality, character, and dedication."
Of the 111 scholars inducted in this year's class,
men's lacrosse had the most inductees of any team, with 15.
Women's track & field finished with 11 scholar-athletes, while
women's lacrosse followed with ten inductees. Much of the class was made up of seniors with 61, and the class's average GPA was an impressive 3.78
To be eligible for induction, scholar-athletes must be of junior standing, completed four, full-time semesters at their current institution, hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, and participated in their sport(s) and be in good standing with their team.
Chi Alpha Sigma is the first, and only, nonprofit organization that was established to recognize four-year college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition. Founded in 1996 by then DePauw University head football coach, Nick Mourouzis, Chi Alpha Sigma continues to provide outstanding student-athletes with an opportunity to become connected within a fraternal association that aligns their educational and athletic successes for a lifetime.
