Westlake, Ohio – Leading the Oberlin College women's tennis team with a pair of victories,
Eva Lopez tabs her second North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honor, as announced by the league office Tuesday morning.
Delivering a clutch week for the Yeowomen, Lopez helped Oberlin secure two key conference victories. The sophomore provided the comeback, match-clinching point in a 4-3 win over DePauw, battling back for a three-set victory at No. 4 singles (2-6, 6-0, 6-4). She followed with a dominant straight-set win (6-0, 6-2) at No. 4 singles in a 7-0 sweep of Wittenberg.
Her performances helped Oberlin secure a winning season and reach the 10-win mark for the first time since 2021-22, continuing a strong year for the program.
The Crimson and Gold will face their final NCAC match of the season when they travel to Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday, April 25. Opening serve is scheduled for 12 p.m.
