Westlake, Ohio – Oberlin College women's basketball senior, Katherine Csiszar, earned her first-ever North Coast Athletic conference honor after a career week. The league office announced the accolade on Tuesday morning.

The Californian delivered a dominant all-around week for the Crimson and Gold, averaging a double-double while stuffing the stat sheet in two contests.

Csiszar opened with a career night at Kalamazoo, logging career highs in minutes (38), points (15), rebounds (17), assists (6), and blocks (5), along with two steals. Her performance marked her second career double-double and powered Oberlin to a 58-52 road win.

She followed with 11 points, a team-best six rebounds, and four steals in a home matchup against Adrian. Across the week, Csiszar averaged 13.0 points and 11.5 rebounds, anchoring Oberlin on both ends of the floor.

Head Coach Stephany Dunmyer said, "Katherine continues to step up for us in big ways. She's been tremendous on the boards and is positively impacting every aspect of the game! She is very deserving of this honor!"

The Crimson and Gold take a holiday break before returning to action at the BW Holiday Classic on Monday, December 29. Oberlin tips off against Case Western Reserve at 3 p.m.
