Oberlin, Ohio - The Oberlin College women's lacrosse team has named
Meghan Nasman as the Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach in Fall 2025.
"We are so excited to welcome Meghan to the family," Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Malory Nadrah remarks. "She has a wonderful IQ and passion for the game. I know the team is going to benefit from her influence on our program. She really is the final piece we need to complete our coaching staff and truly take a step forward as a program this year."
A five-year member of the women's lacrosse team at Mercyhurst, Nasman competed at both the Division II and Division I levels as Mercyhurst transitioned to Division I in August 2024. Appearing in 66 games, the Ohio native registered 73 goals, 55 groundballs, 32 caused turnovers, and 92 draw controls over a five-year span.Â
In 2022, Nasman and the Lakers made an NCAA Tournament appearance after tabbing the fourth seed in the Atlantic Region. In their inaugural Division I season, the team placed fourth in the 2025 Northeast Conference (NEC) standings. A four-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete, Nasman was an NEC Prime Performer and a member of the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association Academic Honor Roll in 2025.Â
Nasman has worked as a coach for the MAXIM Lacrosse Club since 2025. Prior to her work with MAXIM, Nasman served as a Bay Village Youth Volunteer Lacrosse Coach from 2018 to 2020. At Mercyhurst, Nasman assisted with game day operations from 2023 to 2025.Â
Nasman graduated with her bachelor's degree in applied forensic science with a concentration in criminalistics and forensic biology in 2024 from Mercyhurst before completing a post-baccalaureate certificate in Exploring the Law.Â
"I am beyond excited and grateful for this opportunity to start my journey in collegiate coaching," Nasman continues. "Lacrosse is something that is so special to me, and I can't wait for this next chapter as I transition from player to coach. I think that this group can do amazing things, and I'm excited to see where this team can go!"
