Westlake, Ohio – The North Coast Athletic Conference postseason honors featured a pair of Oberlin College women's lacrosse rookies, as announced by the league office Friday.

Kylie Thompson and Rachel Reiter notch their first career North Coast honors, both earning Second-Team All-Conference laurels.

Thompson, the anchor of the Crimson and Gold attack, finished fourth in the conference in goals (42), eighth in total points (55), and ninth in average goals/game (3.24). In the team's home opener against Ohio Northern, the rookie scored six goals and two assists to tie fourth all-time for points scored in a single game. It marks the second-most points scored by a first-year player in a single game in program history.

On the other end of the field, Reiter settled the defense, scooping ground balls in all but two games this season. Contributing on the circle as well, the rookie led the team in draw control with 41, which also ranks 12th in the North Coast. Additionally, Reiter posted a team-best eight draw controls when the Yeowomen hosted #22 Denison.

"Congratulations to Kylie and Rachel for earning recognition in a great conference. They both work very hard and are very dedicated to building the competitiveness of our program." Head Coach Malory Nadrah reflects on her rookies' season, "Even in games where Kylie was marked up, she still found a way to contribute through the ride and ground balls. Rachel's presence on the draw and in transition was consistent and critical to our games. I am so proud of them!"

Finishing the most wins (8) since 2018, the Yeowomen are set for a bright future with the return of both their All-Conference selections.
