New Orleans - In the classroom. On the track. In the field. Oberlin College track and field athletes tend to excel in all three areas and this past year was no different with both teams earning U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors.
The women's team recorded a grade point average of 3.66 in 2022-23, while the men's unit checked in at 3.49. In order to qualify for the award a team must have a minimum GPA of 3.1.
Additionally, eight individual athletes were tabbed as All-Academic for having a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 while also meeting one of the following criteria: finising the indoor season among the top 50 individuals in their respective event, competed at the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championships or were a part of a top 35 relay unit.
Those representing Oberlin from the women's team were seniors
