Gambier, Ohio – New Oberlin College women's tennis coach
Lori Shulman got the first look of her team in action over the weekend at the Kenyon College Invitational.
The Yeowomen participated in seven singles and six doubles matches, competing against some of the best teams in the ITA Central Region.
In singles action, senior
Dina Nouaime earned a strong win over Simran Bedi of Carnegie Mellon by the scores of 6-1, 6-3. First-year
Lydia Zafeiri also notched her first collegiate victory as she set aside Abby Williams of Wooster 6-0, 6-2.
Sophomore
Anna Pastore, who had a team-high 17 singles wins last year, added another victory to her career ledger as she dispatched Mia Zivkovic of John Carroll University 6-2, 7-5.

Marta Laska also earned a doubles victory over Pallavi Goculdas and Shreya Ramani of Case Western University by an 8-4 count.
The Oberlin women's tennis team will be back in action at the end of the month at the Ashland Invitational.
