Wooster, Ohio- In their final competition of the regular season, the Oberlin College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Wooster to compete in the non-team scored Wooster Twilight 5k Challenge.

Marisa Tayal led the Yeowomen's 5k efforts with a time of 20:48.2 to finish in 13
th. Not far behind came a plethora of Crimson and Gold in
Tessa Lauen (21:23.3),
Camila Ciembroniewicz (21:29.0),
Caleigh Lyons (21:32.9), and
Natalie Hickerson (21:35.3). First-year
Ella Wozek finished just a few seconds later with a time of 22:13.3 before Serafina Yan rounded out the Yeowomen harriers at 23:58.1.

In the men's 5k,
Johnny Ragsdale earned the top finish for Oberlin with a time of 15:49.26 to finish third overall.
Charlie Endres and
Danny Markey finished right behind at 15:55.2 and 16:04.1 to round out the top five. Keeping it close,
Jesse Herdman (16:29.6) came in at ninth before
Jerry Achtermann and
Liam Newman finished in 16:44.5 and 16:57.2, respectively.
Chase Sortor rounded out the Oberlin lineup with a personal-best time of 18:21.3.

Running unattached was XC alum and Volunteer Assistant Coach,
Anna Scott '22 who finished second overall with a time of 18:35.5.

The Oberlin cross country teams now look to showcase their talents at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships next Saturday, November 12.
