Field Hockey Drops NCAC Contest at Wooster

Wooster, Ohio – Four first half goals from the Fighting Scots spelled trouble for Oberlin field hockey as they lost, 5-0 Saturday afternoon.

After allowing four Wooster goals in the first stanza, the Yeowomen rallied defensively in the second half.

Sophomores Ariana Enzerink and Maureen Coffey led the Yeowomen with four shots each against the Scots.

Sophomore goalie Maggie Gossiaux hit 20+ saves for the third time this season with 20 saves in Wooster. Gossiaux's save total on the season surpassed the century mark with 105.

Oberlin field hockey will return home to square off with the Ladies of Kenyon College, tomorrow, Sunday, September 28. Action from the Austin E. Knowlton Athletics Complex is slated for noon.
