ResultsKent, OH – Select members of the Oberlin College track and field teams opened up the 2014-15 indoor season at the Kent State Golden Gala on Friday night.
The meet started with the women's throwing events, which featured two Yeowomen newcomers. In the weight throw
Ana Richardson placed 23
rd overall with a toss of 43-05.75, while classmate
Monique Newton was two spots back with a mark of 41-11.50. In the men's side of the event, senior Conor Narovec checked in 25
th with a heave of 40-01.25.
In the women's long jump first-year
Rayna Holmes made her collegiate debut, recording a mark of 14-11.25.
A
