Bye Bye to the Bye? …In the 2013 the Yeomen's bye week came in week one of the season, meaning they played 10 straight weeks once they opened the season, which started with a 19-2 win over Case Western Reserve University in week two … The victory marked the Yeomen's first win following the bye week in any year in the 2000s … With last week off, the Yeomen are hoping for a different result on Saturday.
3rd-Down Woes … Third down has been an area of concern on both sides of the ball for the Yeomen thus far … Offensively the Yeomen have converted 19-of-36 chances for a 35.8 percent success rate, and defensively, opponents have moved the chains 63.2 percent of the time, with 36 successful conversions on 57 attempts … Both numbers rank last in the NCAC.
Cashing In … The Yeomen have been doing a good job in converting their red zone opportunities, producing points on 10-of-11 trips so far this season … They have cashed in six touchdowns and four field goals on the season, but need to do a better job in getting there as Oberlin opponents have produced points on 21-of-24 chances so far this year.
