Westlake, Ohio – In his final year on the gridiron, Oberlin College football senior, Hunter Green, earned North Coast Athletic Conference Third-Team honors, as announced by the league on Thursday afternoon.

The Maryland native notches his second-career postseason honor after being named Third-Team All-Conference in 2024.

Green led the Yeomen in seven defensive categories: total tackles (80.0), solo tackles (44), tackle assists (36), tackles for loss (10.0-27), sacks (2.0-4), quarterback hurries (four), and fumble recoveries (one). He played in all 40 games during his career, accumulating 354 tackles, which ranks second overall in the Oberlin record books.

In the North Coast, Green finished fourth overall in total tackles, fourth in solo tackles, and seventh in assists. In tackles for loss, the senior ranks fourth as well.

"I couldn't be more proud of Hunter for earning back-to-back All-NCAC honors." Head Coach John Pont, referring to his senior leader, "Hunter has been the heart and soul of our defense. His preparation, physicality, and leadership on every snap exemplify what it means to be an Oberlin Yeomen. This recognition is well-deserved, and Hunter will be truly missed when he graduates."

While Green, along with six other Yeomen, graduates from the program next semester, the rest of the team is set to return for Spring ball and gear up for the 2026 season.
