Box Score Springfield, Ohio – The Oberlin College field hockey team concluded its weekend by falling to the Wittenberg University Tigers 7-0 on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers scored three goals in the first half and added four more in the second session.
Wittenberg out-shot Oberlin 56-4 in the match.
Maureen Coffey triggered three of Oberlin's attempts with one on goal, while
Sophia Weinstein was credited with the other lone Yeowomen shot.
A total of 24 Tigers played in the match.
Maggie Gossiaux saw 35 shots on frame, making 28 saves in the game.
Oberlin is back in action next Saturday when DePauw comes to town for a 1 p.m. tilt.
