Women's One Mile Results

Molly Martorella was the lone Oberlin College track and field athlete to qualify for the 2013 NCAA Indoor Championships, but unfortunately she failed to advance to tomorrow's final in the women's mile.
Martorella finished 15
th overall in the prelims of the event at 5:11.26. The top 10 placers advanced to tomorrow's final. Randelle Boots was the last person to qualify with a time of 4:56.43.
“It was an extremely fast race,” Head Coach
Ray Appenheimer said. “It was a tough race for Molly today, but I am extremely proud of her for all that she has accomplished this year and in previous years.”
Marotrella, who was the NCAC Indoor Distance Runner of the Year, will look continue her success during the upcoming outdoor season.
