Claremont, CA – The Oberlin College women's lacrosse team lost its final game of spring break on Friday night, falling to the Athenas of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps by a 16-6 count.

Senior Ilyssa Meyer and junior Sarah Andrews led the Yeowomen with two scores each in the setback. Bronwen Schumacher and Kate Hanick also chipped in with a goal apiece in the contest.

Senior goalie Madeleine O'Meara had five saves over 60 minutes of work in the cage.

Oberlin, which fell to 1-7 on the season, returns home to host Denison University on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
