Scouting the Terriers …
Leading the way offensively for Hiram is senior quarterback George Blake, who has thrown for over 1000 yards and five touchdowns … His leading target is senior Richard Simpson who averages 24 yards per reception and has found the end zone three times … Caleb Jones is the top rusher for the Terriers, averaging 49 yards a game, but he has fumbled the ball three times … Senior linebacker John Davis leads the defense with 82 total tackles, three tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and one sack.

Breaking New Ground …
This will be the final Yeomen football game played at historic Savage Stadium as prior to the game there will be a ground breaking ceremony for the new Austin E. Knowlton Athletics Complex … The Athletics Complex will showcase a top of the line artificial turf field as the playing surface for six varsity programs … It will house year round locker room spaces for 14 of Oberlin's 21 varsity sports teams, plus a 3,000 square-foot social space which will include an Alumni Club … The stadium will feature seating for 2,000 spectators and a state of the art press box. This facility will elevate the athletics experience while continuing to build a tradition of success.

Ramsey's Reign …
Under head coach Jeff Ramsey the Yeomen are 10-3 against Hiram, including four straight victories … In the last four years Oberlin has outscored the Terriers, 147-57 … Since 2001 the Yeomen are 6-6 in season finales, and 4-2 at Savage Stadium.

King Richardson …
Playing in his final game as a Yeomen, Moses Richardson is 13 yards shy of 2,000 career combined rushing and receiving yards … He is also 110 yards shy of tying for fifth on the Yeomen career rushing yards list … This season Richardson has hauled in 129 receiving yards, a career best … Over the past four years, he has also accounted for 16 touchdowns.

A Blossoming Threat …
After scoring his lone touchdown of the season against Hiram last year, Nick Theofilos has continued to get more and more short yardage work for the Yeomen this season … After busting out for a 60 yard TD scamper earlier this year against Wooster, he found the end zone again last week from 1 yard out … Last year he accounted for just 56 yards of offense, but Theofilos has racked up 212 yards this fall as a sophomore.

Defensive Stand …
The Oberlin defense has been exceptional at home this season, allowing just 8.5 points per game… Opponents are averaging just 254.5 yards per game when visiting Savage Stadium and committing almost three turnovers per game … The Yeomen are also playing in the oppositions backfield, averaging 2.5 sacks per game and 6.75 tackles for loss during home games … Oberlin's defense is limiting opponents to 27 percent conversion rate on third downs and have held opponents to less than 50 percent success rate in the red zone.
