Sean Higgins and senior
Matthew Fineman were named as All-NCAC Honorable-Mention selections, the league office announced on Thursday afternoon.
Higgins, a midfielder from Media, Pennsylvania, led the Yeomen with 19 goals and added six assists to finish with a team-high 26 points. The rookie triggered a team-high 103 shots, 60 of which were on goal. He also led the way with seven man-up goals this spring.
Fineman, who was a defensive specialist for the Yeomen, did score three goals this season while finishing second on the team with 47 ground balls. He played in all 16 games this season.
Oberlin is losing Fineman, along with his twin brother Dan in addition to fellow seniors
James Kriz and
Ted Pallis#. However, Higgins will be back in 2013 to help lead the Yeomen attack.
