Westlake, Ohio – Following their record-breaking season, eight athletes from the Oberlin College men's lacrosse team earned North Coast Athletic Conference honors, announced by the conference office on Monday. Leading the Yeomen in the historic season, Head Coach

Thomas Klosowski garnered the NCAC Coaching Staff of the Year for the second straight season.
Solomon Brennan, Jacob Starcke, and Colin Taylor were all named to the All-NCAC First-Team. The trio of Joe Chai, Cooper Rand, and Evan Sardina earned All-Conference Second-Team honors, while Chris Totonis and Cooper Zancosky posted All-NCAC Third-Team laurels.
Leading the Yeomen to a 12-6 overall record and 6-2 in conference play, Polak and Klosowski guided Oberlin to tie the most overall wins in program history, and the most conference wins in program history, registering their highest win percentage since 1967 (.750). Following their impressive conference performance, Oberlin was named the NCAC Co-Champions, earning the top seed in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament and winning their first NCAC Tournament game in program history when they defeated Wooster.
Brennan earns his first career First-Team honor after garnering All-NCAC Second-Team accolades in 2024 and 2025. Playing in all 18 games, Brennan delivered 34 goals, 17 assists, and 51 points, including a team-best five game-winning goals and three player-up goals. Brennan finished eighth in the conference in goals per game, averaging 1.89 goals per game.
The leading goal scorer in program history with 190 career goals, Starcke is a four-time All-Conference selection after earning Second-Team recognition in 2023 and 2025 and Third-Team accolades in 2024. Starting in 17 games this season, the senior led the team with 52 goals and 62 points this season. The Northport, New York native graduates ranking third all-time in Oberlin history with 225 career points
Anchoring the Oberlin defense, Taylor earned his third career North Coast honor after earning All-Conference First-Team laurels in 2025 and Second-Team accolades in 2024. Starting in all 18 games this season, Taylor registered 24 caused turnovers and 56 ground balls. The Baltimore, Maryland native also scored a goal in Oberlin's victory over Trine.
Chai delivers his first career North Coast recognition after an incredible season with the Yeomen. A key member of the midfield, the Rye, New York native caused 16 turnovers and posted 20 ground balls. The sophomore also added an assist in Oberlin's historic win over Ohio Wesleyan, when they defeated the Battling Bishops for the first time since 1970 and secured their first win over a nationally-ranked opponent.
Starting in all 18 games this season, Rand led the team with 34 caused turnovers and added 59 ground balls. A Northfield, Minnesota native, Rand ranks third in the conference in caused turnovers per game with an average of 1.89 caused turnovers per game. This marks Rand's first North Coast award of his career.
Leading Oberlin at the face-off, Sardina tallied a team-best 184 ground balls, going 251-333 from the face-off. The junior finished second in the North Coast in ground balls, averaging 10.22 ground balls per game, and is currently ranked fourth in Division III with a .759 face-off winning percentage. Earning Third-Team honors in 2025, this marks Sardina's second career NCAC award.
Earning Third-Team honors for the second consecutive year, Totonis started in all 18 games this season. The midfielder totaled 16 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers this season. The Southington, Connecticut native also scored a goal in Oberlin's dominant 23-5 victory over Westminster and added an assist in the team's 14-6 victory over Adrian.
Zancosky registers his first career North Coast honor after a strong sophomore season. Playing in all 18 games, Zancosky notched 22 goals, 10 assists, and 32 points. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native produced eight multi-goal performances, including during the Yeomen's historic win over Ohio Wesleyan and their first NCAC Tournament victory over Wooster.
Finishing the year with their best season in program history, Oberlin will take a much-deserved rest heading into the offseason. Looking ahead to the 2027 season, the Yeomen will return a deep roster and prepare for another record-breaking campaign.
