Denison is coming into the week off of a loss to Carnegie Mellon… The Big Red offense is led by senior running back Sam Fioroni who has run for a conference-best 597 yards and five touchdowns… Fioroni is averaging 5.1 yards per carry and 119.4 yards per game, while also leading Denison in receptions with 34 and two touchdowns… Denison has also seen success through the air with senior quarterback Max Paulus who has thrown for 1147 yards and 11 touchdowns… Senior defensive back Alex Sycher leads the Big Red defense with 38 tackles on the year.
Third Straight Week at the Top …

Clay Eaton recorded two sacks in the first half of the last week's contest against Kenyon, bringing his total 2012 sack count to 9.5 and his 10th straight game with a sack… Eaton's 1.9 sacks per game average ranks him first in the country for the third consecutive week… The nation's top pass rusher looks to add to his total against a Denison offensive line that has allowed 27 sacks in the first five games of the season.
Yeomen Moving Up in Record Book…
Wide receiver Robin Witjes moved into the top five receivers in Oberlin history in career receptions with 119 after last week's game at Kenyon… Witjes is also just 22 yards away from moving into the top-five in career receiving yards heading into this week's game against Denison… Along with adding to his career sack record, senior
Clay Eaton also tied the Oberlin record for career tackles-for-loss with 45.5 after his two sack performance at Kenyon last week.
Trouble on Third Down…
The Yeomen offense has struggled over the last few games, especially on continuing drives and converting on third down… Last week against Kenyon, Oberlin converted just one of it 11 third downs… In 2011, Oberlin's third down conversion percentage was 36.0, while in 2012 the Yeomen's third down conversion percentage is 14.3 which ranks last in the nation through the first six weeks of the season.
