Box Score

Hudson, Ohio-
On an offsight location due to field drainage issues, the Oberlin College field hockey team was shut out 6-0 by the visiting DePauw Tigers.

The Yeowomen battled very well in the first half but just could not get their offense going. They only managed 1 shot all day, and were on the defensive for most of the match. Kiran Puri put in an impressive day with 22 saves, including 15 in the first half. Puri's aggressive keeper play kept the Yeowomen in the game for the first half as the score was 2-0. Deb Ranieri included that her charging abilities kept the shot total lower than what it could have been. Marissa Blackwell added a defensive save in the second half.

The Yeowomen look to bounce back as they play the College of Wooster this Wednesday, September 28th at 4:30 p.m. at home.
