Box Score

Meadville, Pa. –
Allegheny scored 13 first-half goals as the home Gators went on to beat the visiting Yeowomen of Oberlin 22-4 on Saturday afternoon in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

The Gators (10-5, 2-2 NCAC) controlled the game from start finish as they had seven different players score at least one goal and had five with three or more scores. Sophomore Grace Amber led Oberlin with two goals and now leads the team with 24 scores on the season.

Freshman Phoebe Hammer and sophomore Ilyssa Meyer were the only other Yeowomen who found the back of the cage.

Oberlin (3-6, 0-4 NCAC) was on the wrong end of a 36-13 shot disparity and it was also hindered by winning just eight of the game's 28 draw controls.

The Yeowomen will look to regroup when they travel to Kenyon College on Tuesday. The opening draw is set for 5 p.m.
