Birmingham, AL – The Oberlin College women's lacrosse team had no answer for the Birmingham Southern Panthers as the Yeowomen suffered a 16-0 setback on Thursday evening.
Oberlin (3-3) triggered just nine shots in the game and could never get in rhythm on the offensive end.
The Panthers scored 12 times in the first half and improved their record to 9-2 on the year.
Molly Bloom led Oberlin with four shots while
Lori Sako led the team with three ground balls.
Alice Zicht also won two draw controls.
Katherine Ficarra paced the defense with two caused turnovers.
Oberlin returns home to host to Division I Howard University on Easter Sunday at 1 p.m.
