Bluffton, Ohio – Playing in their second game in as many days, the Oberlin College women's basketball team fell to St. Mary's College (Indiana) 74-37 on day two of the Bluffton University Tournament.

Kelly Warlich was a bright spot for the Yeowomen, recording her first-career double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Classmate
Allison Anderson added seven points in the loss. Senior
Kayla Brandt was also named to the all-tournament team.
The Yeowomen got off to a slow start offensively, allowing the Belles to build a 37-16 edge at the break. Oberlin, who started the game making just two of its first nine shots, finished the half 6-of-25 (24%) – including just 2-of-10 from long range. Unfortunately, things didn't get much better in the second session as Oberlin (0-2) finished the game 10-of-47 shooting for a success rate of just 21.3-percent.
Half way through the second half, St. Mary's (2-1) extended its lead to 29, 53-24, and never looked back.
One of the major differences in the game came on the glass as the Belles had a 49-36 advantage in rebounding – including an 18-8 edge on the offensive end.
Oberlin did shoot an impressive 80-percent at the free throw line – knocking down 12-of-15 charity tosses.
