The Yeomen came out of the locker room firing and quickly built a 16-10 advantage, but the Gators came to life over second part of the first half – ripping off a 19-2 run to close out the frame and lead 29-18 at the break.
“We played well to start, but struggled to close out the first half and were never able to recover,” head coach

In the second half the Gators picked up right where they left off as Oberlin (4-9, 1-4 NCAC) got no closer than 13 over the final 16 minutes of play.
Allegheny (7-7, 3-2 NCAC) had four players in double figures and shot 50.9-percent (28-of-55) from the floor – including an impressive 13-of-23 (56.5%) effort from downtown. OC checked in with a 35.1-percent (20-of-57) success rate and was 7-of-23 (30.4%) from three-point land.
The Yeomen will continue their four-game road trip on Saturday afternoon with a conference clash at Wabash. Tip-time is set for 1 p.m.
