Box Score

December 3 –
Oberlin had three players score double figures, but the College of Wooster shot a blazing 66.7-percent to cruise to a 104-54 win over the Yeomen on Wednesday night.

Senior Jordan Beard paced the OC attack with 13 points, while fellow scoring threat Mike Loll added 12 of his own. Guard Omari Hall also recorded his best scoring-effort of the season with 10 points.

The Scots got off to fast start – building a 12-1 lead five minutes into the game, deflating the spirits of the upstart Yeomen. Wooster (3-3, 1-0 NCAC) continued its offensive output by shooting 76-percent (19-of-25) in the opening session en route to posting a 50-27 halftime advantage.

The second half was more of the same as the Scots continued to score, while Oberlin (2-4, 0-1 NCAC) continued to struggle to generate offense – finishing just 36-percent (18-of-50) from the floor.

The Scots used their distinct size advantage to out-rebound the Yeomen 41-16 on the night.

Oberlin had an impressive effort at the free-throw line – cashing in 10-of-12 (83.3 %) charity tosses.

The Yeomen look to get back on track this Saturday when they play host to Earlham College at 3 p.m. The women's team will also host Earlham prior to the men's game with tip-off slated for 1 p.m.
