Series Info …
Oberlin has a 6-4-1 edge in the all-time series against the Maroons, but the two schools have not done battle on the gridiron since the 1995 season, a game in which Chicago blanked Oberlin 47-0 … the first meeting was way back in 1893, a 33-12 Yeomen victory … the last time OC topped Chicago was in 1975 (52-7) … this game marks head coach
Jeff Ramsey's first-ever meeting against the Maroons.
Scouting the Maroons …
Chicago is coming off a bye week and enters the weekend 0-3 on the season … the Maroons last played on September 27, suffering a 27-6 defeat at the hands of Elmhurst … UC has also lost to NCAC members Wabash (49-7/Sept. 20) and Kenyon (39-36/Sept. 13) … Chicago is averaging just 16.3 points per game, while allowing 38.3 ppg to its opponents – having been outscored 115-49 thus far … Tommy Parks leads an above average ground game with 93.5 yards per game, while QB John Kiernan has three touchdowns and two INTs on the season.
