Lilburn, Georgia – The Oberlin College women's basketball team earned national recognition from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) for their academic excellence.
 
The Crimson and Gold finished with a 3.64 GPA, collecting Special Mention from the organization. Oberlin finished second among the seven North Coast Athletic Conference schools that earned the recognition.
 
Head Coach Stephany Dunmyer said, "I am so proud of our players for their continued excellence in the classroom! This is a well-deserved honor from the WBCA!"
 
A team must have a combined GPA of 3.0 or better and be nominated by its head coach who must be a member of the WBCA to be recognized. The 2025-26 season is the 31st in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
