Oberlin, Ohio – Making a clean sweep of Wooster, the Oberlin College women's tennis team dominated the Fighting Scots 7-0 on Wednesday night. The Yeowomen jump to 7-6 on the season and 3-0 in conference action.
On the doubles court,
Eva Lopez and
Scarlett Kingston soared through their No. 3 match, taking down Wooster 6-0.
Freya Rahm and
Rachel Allen clinched the doubles point on the No. 2 court with their 6-1 win. In the top slot,
Anna Pastore and
Hannah Soong rounded out the doubles matches with a 6-0 victory.
Allen continued her winning with the first singles point for Oberlin; a 6-0, 6-1 win on the No. 2 court. Allen's double partner, Rahm (6-0, 6-2), finished next before Kingston (6-0, 6-0) secured the conference victory for the Crimson and Gold.
After Pastore won 6-3, 6-3, Lopez and
Olivia Wollner got underway on the five and sixth court, respectively. Wollner finished first with a 6-0, 6-3 win, just before Lopez closed out the match with a 6-0, 6-0 stomping.
Oberlin hosts their next match against DePauw, on Saturday, April 12 in the Heisman Fieldhouse.
