                    Box Score Oberlin, Ohio – The Oberlin College men's tennis team swept aside John Carroll University, 7–0, on Saturday afternoon.
 
First-years 
Oliver Knijnenburg and 
Max Brose won Oberlin's first doubles match 2-0 over JCU's No. 3 team, Ryan Waugaman and Jack Sigler, after Sigler wasn't able to continue after he fell awkwardly and injured his leg. Second-year 
Zain Makada and first-year 
Enrique Margain steamrolled over Philip Gorun and Luis Wentz, 6-0, in the No. 2 doubles match, while Oberlin's No. 1 duo, third-year 
Shawn Lisann and first-year 
Brady Huggett needed only one break in their 6-4 victory over Anthony Markello and Dylan Westmeyer. 
 
Oberlin's dominant performances continued in singles play, as no Yeoman dropped more than two games in any set. Lisann played his most comprehensive match of the year in a 6-2, 6-2 win over Markello in the No. 1 match. Margain secured his first singles win as a Yeoman and clinched the match for Oberlin in a 6-2, 6-0 win over JCU's No. 2 Westmeyer. Oberlin's No. 3 Makada continued his winning ways from singles in a 6-2, 6-1 victory against Gorun. Brose dropped just two games against Wentz in the No. 4 match for a 6-2, 6-0 win, while Huggett grabbed a win over Waugaman, 6-0, 6-0, in the No. 5 slot. Oberlin won the #6 match by default as Sigler couldn't play.
 
With the win, Oberlin improves to 3-6 on the season and will head to Orlando, Florida, for its next slate of matches, which starts against Hamilton College next Sunday.
