Oberlin, Ohio – The Oberlin College women's soccer team hosted John Carroll for an NCAC matchup at home on Saturday afternoon. First-year
Lexi Reynolds scored her first collegiate goal in the match, despite the Crimson and Gold dropping the 3-1 contest.
Led by Reynolds with a pair of shots,

Meena Lee, and
Skylar Leung added to the efforts with a shot each.
Alison Grant earned the start in cage, amassing nine saves, and playing a complete 90 minutes for the third time this year.
Oberlin held the Blue Streaks off through a back-to-back shots in the early minutes. Grant stood tall to make the saves keeping the game scoreless. In the 32', John Carroll ended the deadlock after a free ball bobbled away from Grant. JCU added another goal just before the half off to take a 2-0 lead into the break.
At the start of the second frame, the Blue Streaks capitalized on another loose ball in front of cage. Facing a 3-0 deficit, Oberlin faced an uphill battle to get back in the match.
In the 69',
Emma Boyles launched a corner kick to the front-center of the goal back, the Blue Streaks' keeper leaped for the punch out. Trickling just feet away, Reynolds popped the ball over the keeper's head and into the back of the goal. Notching the first of her career, Reynolds' goal sat as the lone score of the game for the Yeowomen.
